MercuryGate International, Inc., a leading Transportation Management System (TMS) provider, announced the launch of ezVision at last week’s Gartner Supply Chain Executive Conference.
This new user experience for the MercuryGate TMS service is designed to make transportation management easier, faster, and more dynamic. By providing supply chain managers with quick access to the most critical and frequent functions done on a day-to-day basis, ezVision is designed to create a workflow that maximizes user efficiency.
“We want to make every interaction with MercuryGate TMS the best experience it can be, with speed being a measurable output of form,” says says Monica Wooden, CEO and Co-Founder of MercuryGate International, Inc.
“Transportation management software needs to evolve and adjust to the way our customers work,” she adds.
SCMR was given a demonstration at the conference of MercuryGate's new user interface, which appears to provide a greater level of control tower visibility to support responses to unplanned requests and ultimately reduce the number of clicks or actions required to complete any TMS task.
The company also told us that the service gives supply chain managers more detailed “alerts” when shipments are delayed or detained.
The report dashboard portal provides a control tower view of what's due, overdue and upcoming, assisting users as they plan their workflow and prioritize tasks. This screen includes an unprecedented amount of relevant information, allowing users to eliminate time spent on scrolling or searching from window to window for necessary data.
